The historic city of Stirling enjoys
a central location with easy access onto M8 & M9 motorways for
commuting to Glasgow and Edinburgh, with international airports less
than an hour away.
Stirling Castle is the grandest of Scotland's castles and one of the
most popular visitor attractions. Mary Queen of Scots spent her childhood
in the castle and her coronation took place in the Chapel Royal in
1543. Completed in 1869 the 220ft high Wallace Monument sits on the
hill top where William Wallace in 1297 watched the English army approach
Stirling Bridge before leading his men into battle and onto victory.
Stirling is also the gateway to Scotland's First National Park with
some of the most breathtaking scenery within a thirty minute drive
of the city centre. |
